Just got back from work.... left work place very late today...Jus let me rant today.... Had a 'good' nite last nite... Had my aunt gave me a shock for a while....
she left the ward without telling me. i'd onli realised that she was not in the ward when i was about to go to her bed to do her hypocount. what i saw was jus nicely folded blanket with both bed rails up n her wrist tag being nicely placed on the cardiac table.. Luckily i didnt delayed doing the hypcount... the best thing bout this story was that i had two key witness who saw my auntie went out. one said he even saw the auntie climbed out of bed n walked out of the ward. he even asked where was she going!!! i jus shook my head. Called security officers twice.... sent my junior down to look for her personalli.... level 1... not there... basement 1.. not there also.... basement 2.... not even there..!!! then where did she go? wanna know the story??
She went up instead of down.... went to upper level... had the missy there calling up every ward to ask who had lost their patient.... i was a bit kan cheong when she went missing then... Thank God... we've found her within 15 mins from the time we've found her missing... so there goes my time spent... searching for my dear auntie... luckily she's back safe n sound... kinda confused la... had my dr checked on her...
after tat... back to my normal routines.... in the midst of that... answered call bell here n there... one auntie request for suctioning... i couldnt even sit down n peace....
i had 2 new admissions... not that bad la... but couldnt do my changes in time cos my dearest dr is held up with lots of new cases.... sigh....
Had some other things happen too... but wouldnt want to mention it here.... for confidentiality sake.... Managed to order mcdonalds for sahur earlier.... i had to eat in a hurry while my eyes never stop eyeing on my auntie who will anytime climb out of bed.
Stayed back a while to finished up some things.... Then got scolded from consultant... well, he has a reason for that... i understood that... it made us think... kinda lucky we had our 'boss' on duty today....
In all, im not busy but occupied...! hopefulli tonite will be slightly better... im going to sleep now!!
